In an effort to reduce his living expenditures in a city like Beijing, Daihai Fei, a 24-year-old Chinese student, has started living in a house that he crafted on a bamboo frame covered with various insulating materials topped with a layer of stitched bag. The bags are filled with sawdust and grass seeds, which the creator waters to enhance grass growth.

The interiors of the tiny house feature all the necessary facilities that include a bed, a small sink, a tiny bookshelf and a lamp that is powered by energy collected from a roof-mounted solar panel. Built with a budget of just $960, the mobile home has been the creator’s abode for the past two months.
